Chicken liver is the main and most useful part of chicken offal. Unlike other giblets, it is the heaviest. Chicken liver is rich in protein, which is easily absorbed, as well as vitamins A and B12. They help to renew cells, improve vision, stabilize the nervous system, and promote weight loss. Chicken liver is sold in factory packaging in chilled and frozen form. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days, and in the frozen form for up to four months. The temperature should be minus 10°C.
